Shuriken Sentai Ninninger

With the passing of the Last Ninja, the Yokai Army is freed once again and it's time for the five descendants of Last Ninja, Takaharu, Fuka, Yakumo, Matsuo and Kasumi to become the Ninningers and protect the world from the Yokai Army. Takaharu returns to his hometown when a horde of ashigaru attack.

After their first encounter with the Yokai Army, the five Ninningers train at the Ninja Dojo. Takaharu gives some Ninjutsu advice to the others but Yakumo, who is a genius about that, doesn’t agree with him. The five heroes start their ninjutsu training. However, Takaharu confronts Yakumo, who's standoffish attitude has worn thin.

The Niningers train themselves in a task to steal a scroll. After evading traps, they finally succeed in their objective but Takaharu's carelessness eventually gets them caught in a trap, which ends the training with a failure. While elsewhere, the Kibaoni Army's spearhead Raizo Gabi is finally awakened by Kyuemon Iyazoi. The warrior refuses to take Kyuemon's orders, but tells her to find him once there is a nearby battle.

The Ninningers train themselves inside a simulation room against virtual Hitokarages and Youkai Kamaitachi. Outnumbered, they hide themselves and AoNinger plans an attack but AkaNinger quickly destroys all of them with his Ninja Fury Slash. The Ninningers lecture Takaharu for his incorporation with Yoshitaka giving them advice to heighten their Nintality so they can use their Sealing Shuriken, much like how Kyuemon previously turned one into a Yo Shuriken. Meanwhile, Kyuemon tries to order Raizo Gabi to gather human fears but he rejects it, having his eye on AkaNinger. As the team practises again, Takaharu once more finishes the training on his own. His father, Tsumuji, decides to give Takaharu a break in order to have the rest of the team reach his level.

One day, a corrupted Sealing Shuriken infects a parabolic antenna, creating Youkai Ungaikyo. The Ninningers are alerted by his creation and hurry to his current location, only to witness him giving away balloons to some children. All of them are confused as to whether or not attack him and in the end, decide to take turns looking after him. Kasumi arrives late, as she had a lecture at her school. Her dream is to become a scientist after hearing of Yoshitaka Igasaki's ability to communicate with 30 alien languages as a child.
