The production crew has visited 20 regions in 30 countries to film the mysterious creature, the whale. The first to be introduced is the sperm whale, which has become widely known thanks to Herman Melville's famous novel, "Moby Dick." Unlike the way it's depicted in the novel, it turns out to be friendly toward humans and to have all the traits that humans have. The second type of whale to be presented is the humpback whale. Surprisingly, humpback whales tend to protect other forms of life, including humans! Lastly, the beluga whale shows up, and a bunch of beluga whales get into a life-and-death situation as polar bears hunt for them.
