Josh Schwartz returns to the pool house with Rachel Bilson and Melinda Clarke to discuss the season 4 opener, “The Avengers.” Josh talks about the season 3 finale, Marissa’s death and the start of season 4. They also discuss the casting of “Che” played by Chris Pratt and Josh also tells a funny story about Adam Brody and the movie, “Looper.”

Beloved OC editor Jeff Granzow returns to the pool house with Rachel Bilson and Melinda Clarke to discuss Season 4, Episode 2, “The Gringos.” The trio discuss why they wish people still use landlines, their love for Wayne’s World, and Jeff breaks down that infamous Seth and Steve-O scene. Melinda shares a funny story about being lost in Mexico! The Gringos Synopsis: Seth and Ryan travel to Mexico to look for Volchok. In Newport, Julie and Kaitlin participate in a clothing drive at Harbor High and Julie realizes that she needs to step up more in Kaitlin’s life. At Brown University, Taylor pays Summer a surprise visit.

Scott Krinsky joins Rachel Bilson and Melinda Clarke in the pool house to discuss Season 4, Episode 3, “The Cold Turkey.” Many of you know Scott as Jeff Barnes in the hit TV series, Chuck, but he guested on The O.C. first playing the lovable and much needed comic relief character, Daryll! Scott talks about how he got cast on The OC, and tells a very funny OC joke from his stand-up routine! The trio also talk about Iron Man, spoiler alert for you non-Avengers fans and their favorite food items from Chilis! The Cold Turkey synopsis: As Thanksgiving approaches, Sandy is approached by the fugitive Kevin Volchock to negotiate a surrender for the car accident that unintentionally killed Marissa. Ryan finds out about Sandy's meeting with him, and tries to take advantage to get his revenge against Volchock. Meanwhile, Seth agrees to let Taylor stay at the Cohen house while Kirsten encourages her to face her mother to reveal the truth about her stay in Paris. Also, bad-girl Kaitlin meddle

Norman Buckley returns to the pool house with Rachel Bilson and Melinda Clarke to discuss Season 4, Episode 4, “The Metamorphosis.” Norman directed this episode so he gives some great insight on the storylines and he also discusses the music choices for this episode. Norman also tells a very funny story about the naked singing Che scene. The Metamorphosis synopsis: Summer soul-searches during a visit from Seth. Taylor pleads for Ryan's help with her marriage. Sandy longs for a guys' night. Julie vows to turn over a new leaf in moving on from Marissa's Death.

Brandon Quinn joins Rachel Bilson and Melinda Clarke to discuss Season 4, Episode 5 “The Sleeping Beauty.” Brandon discusses what iconic TV show made him want to be an actor, and tells a very hilarious story about how he got the role of Spencer Bullit on The OC. The trio also discuss their love for bunny rabbits, and Gary Grubbs aka Gordon Bullit! You can check out Brandon on season 3 of Sweet Magnolias, coming soon to Netflix! The Sleeping Beauty Synopsis: Ryan can't sleep, and a smitten Taylor tries to seduce him by becoming his sleep therapist. Meanwhile, Seth vows not to call Summer, and Kaitlin struggles when Julie has a fling with her tennis instructor

Michael Lange is back in the pool house with Rachel Bilson and Melinda Clarke to discuss, Season 4 Episode 6, "The Summer Bummer." This is Michael’s last episode of The OC, he directed and he gives some great insight and behind-the-scenes content from the episode, including a hilarious blooper with Pancakes, the bunny. Rachel also reveals her favorite Gordon Bullit quote that was in this particular episode. The Summer Bummer Synopsis: Summer gets kicked out Brown, thanks to her friend Che. Ryan has fantasies about Taylor after kissing each other. And Kaitlin throws a party at Dr. Robert's house to get even with a popular girl.

It’s one of the craziest episodes in The OC history, Season 4, Episode 7, “The Chrismukk-huh?” Rachel Bilson and Melinda Clarke are joined today by not only the writers of the episode, JJ Phlilbin and John Stephens, but drunk Santa himself, Craig Susser pops by as well. Spoiler alert, Craig actually played four different characters in “The Chrismukk-huh”! Craig talks about how he was cast in The OC, he actually plays various characters in Season 3 and appears in two more episodes in Season 4. JJ and John discuss how they came up with the word, “hajoinks” and how much fun they had writing this episode. John also shares a very funny story about writing this episode that involves the late and great, Regis Philbin. The Chrismukk-huh synopsis: Ryan and Taylor both fall off a ladder and are transported to an alternate universe, where we see what life would be really like if Ryan Atwood never came to Newport.

Norman Buckley is back for his last appearance on the podcast to discuss Season 4, Episode 8, “The Earth Girls Are Easy” with Rachel Bilson and Melinda Clarke. Norman noted that his first appearance on the podcast was S1, Episode 14 “The Countdown,” a New Years Eve episode and his last appearance on the podcast is today’s episode, which is also about New Years Eve! A full circle moment! Norman feels stylistically this is one of the best episodes he has ever directed and he gives great insight and behind-the-scenes details in relation to this particular episode. The Earth Girls Are Easy synopsis: It’s New Years Eve, Seth, Summer, Taylor and Ryan head to Vegas where they encounter aliens, pregnancy tests and a potential marriage proposal! Meanwhile, Bullit introduces a new accountant Frank who might blow up Julie’s new endeavors at New Match.

This week, Rachel Bilson and Melinda Clarke are discussing Season 4, Episode 9, “My Two Dads.” Rachel and Melinda discuss being Team Sandy, Summer and Seth’s dysfunctional engagement storyline, and Kaitlin’s storyline with Chris Brown. Then later, they are joined by two super fans to answer questions about this episode and their overall experience on The O.C. My Two Dads synopsis: Seth and Summer each look for a way to call off the wedding. Who will crack first? Ryan's biological father, Frank, plays the Big-C Card in hopes his son will see him.

Editor Timothy Good joins Rachel Bilson and Melinda Clarke in the pool house today to discuss, Season 4, Episode 10. “The French Connection.” Timothy is currently editing on “The Last of Us’ and discusses some of the techniques he learned on The OC, that he is using today on the hit HBO series. Timothy also breaks down the scenes from an editing perspective and gives some great insight on how each scene was shot and edited. The French Connection Synopsis: Taylor's ex-hubby writes a hot-selling erotic novel about his favorite, “peach”. Seth seeks Neil's permission to marry Summer. Meanwhile, Kirsten uncovers Julie's biz scam and Kaitlin and Will grow closer.

Director Patrick Norris joins Rachel Bilson and Melinda Clarke in the pool house to discuss Season 4, Episode 11, “The Dream Lover.” Patrick directed this episode so he gives unique insight and details to the episode. They also discuss spirit animals, Adam Brody and Chris Pratt’s chemistry and Patrick also discusses The OC earthquake episode, The Night Moves. The Dream Lover Synopsis; Ryan competes with Henri-Michel for Taylor's affections. Che leads Seth on a trek of spiritual renewal complete with otters and frogs. Meanwhile, Kirsten and Julie have to do some damage control and Kaitlin takes on some mean girls in the Harbor High Marching Band.

Gary Grubbs aka Mr. Gordon Bullit himself joins Rachel Bilson and Melinda Clarke to discuss his time on The OC. BANG! Gary discusses his OC audition, how he got his start in Hollywood and some of his fondest on-set memories of The OC. Then later, Rachel and Melinda break down Season 4, Episode 12 “The Groundhogs Day” with some of Gary’s input as well. The Groundhogs Day synopsis: Seth and Che get in some trouble with the police when Che drags Seth into helping him try to free a groundhog before Newport's annual Groundhog Day festival. Meanwhile, Kirsten gets some life altering news and Taylor gets some extra help from a therapist to make things different with Ryan.

Willa Holland joins the Welcome to the OC, Bitches podcast today! Willa discusses how she got on The OC, the advice Peter Gallagher gave her and some of her favorite Bullit moments. Then later, Melinda Clarke and Rachel Bilson break down season 4, Episode 13, “The Case of the Franks.” The Case of the Franks Synopsis: As Valentine’s Day approaches, Ryan worries the pressure will ruin his relationship with Taylor. Revelations along with a psychic’s dire predictions cause Summer and Seth to question whether they are meant to be. Meanwhile, A competition to find Julie’s true match is sparked between "Team Bullit '' and "Team Frank" and with a new baby on the way, Kirsten finds herself dwelling on the past.

Autumn Reeser is back in the pool house with Rachel Bilson and Melinda Clarke to discuss Season 4, Episode 14, “The Shake-Up.” The Shake-Up Synopsis: Taylor prepares for her birthday celebration but frets over the fact Ryan has still not told her that he loves her. Even more concerning is that she applied to and has been accepted to Berkeley. Summer tries to get Seth to be passionate about anything! Kaitlin resents Frank Atwood being around and Kirsten isn’t so sure about raising another kid in Newport. All this leads to a big shake-up at the end of the episode!

Stephanie Savage joins Rachel Bilson and Melinda Clarke in the pool house to discuss Season 4, Episode 15, “The Night Moves” aka the infamous earthquake episode of The OC. We are counting down to the end of the series! The Night Moves Synopsis: In the aftermath of a major earthquake that cuts off power and communication between the Cohens and their loved ones, Seth must take over Ryan’s role as the protector when Ryan is injured and the boys are stranded on a deserted road.

The end is near- Rachel Bilson and Melinda Clarke are recapping the last episode of The OC series. Today the ladies are joined by Ben McKenzie and Josh Schwartz for a special two-part episode of Season 4, Episode 16, “The End's Not Near, It’s Here.” The End’s Not Near, It’s Here Synopsis: Six months after the earthquake, everyone makes decisions that will determine the rest of their lives.
