The most competitive and confusing music tournament on the internet has finally arrived for 2022! THE TOE-TAPPING TOE-NAMENT! This year the AV Geeks will present their catchiest earworms found on 16mm hygiene films and go toe-2-toe with the Found Footage Fest's Joe & Nick who will offer up their hottest hits found on VHS this year! Judging the Toe-Nament is Tim League, founder of the Alamo Drafthouse theaters, but more importantly, he once judged an air guitar contest. Strap on those toes and get ready to tap!

This parody song was actually performed live at the Starbucks Licensed Stores Awards ceremony, a celebratory/motivational leadership conference, in 2005, then given out as a souvenir CD single to attendees. The group of managers performing the song was billed as Jefferson Starbucks. We set it to images of overflowing Starbucks garbage.

You've seen the 1985 insult video, Mr. Nasty, on VCR Party many times. Now, after years of searching, our own VHS detective George speaks to the man himself, Larry Pines, about the video and his career, including detours into music videos for The Cars and as a psychic for Nicole Brown and O.J. October's wildest game show returns! See if you can recognize old, weird, forgotten, or ridiculous Halloween masks of the 70s and 80s before our superstar panel: VCR Party Live's Nick & Joe, Roy Miles the Ghetto Geppetto, Shaturday Morning Cartoon's Professor Caitlin McGurk, and editor Mark Breese. Lewis stayed up until 3am to edit this masterpiece of every time Nick smacked his lips, said "umm," took a sip, and flubbed. Talkin' Beards was a public access show that aired on the Manhattan Neighborhood Network at 5am on Wednesday mornings from 1997-2006. Host Nick Prueher would bring on guests to discuss beard-related issues, including dying, trimming and grooming. The show abruptly ended when Prueher tragically lost his beard in a fireworks incident.

Talkin' Beards aired on public access in Manhattan from 1997-2006. In this clip, frequent guest Chris Elliott discusses his Star Wars audition for the role of Luke Skywalker, and he and Nick field some viewer phone calls. Plus Nick takes his beard to the streets with his popular Street Talkin' segment.

George has been VCR Party's resident VHS detective since 2019 and has an impressive record of tracking down the people in our favorite VHS finds. Some call him a creep for the means in which he finds these people (it usually involves VIN numbers and accident reports), but goshdarn it, he's OUR creep and we love his creepy ways. This week on the Afterparty, we played "Exciting or Not Exciting" with a martial arts tape, Batprince from Australia curates a batch of PAL format VHS clips, and George sings a beautiful song about nail fungal infections.

Well, this is it. With this episode, Afterparty is officially closed for business. We really dropped the ball on this venture, but at least we learned something: don't try new things. Stick with the status quo. Always do the same thing over and over until you die. As for this final episode: Joe eats some Batman cereal and violently gags it up into his own lap, which is a fitting way for an Afterparty to end.

In 'Glue Man,' Nick tells the story of how he went from a local news station's man-on-the-street to broadcasting legend at the History Channel.
