Urotsukidoji

Urotsukidoji is the story of Amano Jyaku from the world of the Jyujinkai and his three-hundred-year quest to discover the Chojin. Accompanied by his sister Megumi and imp-servant Koroko, he has searched the world of the Ninjinkai (humans) for centuries and now he believes he may have found what he has been looking for! But how can he be sure who the Chojin really is? And what will the Chojin's "perfect world" really be like? As Amano is tormented by doubts and uncertainties one truth rises to light: before creation there must first be destruction!

Nazi Germany, 1944: As American bombers soar towards Berlin, a revolting Satanic rite takes place below - Hitler and his minions are using the monstrous Nazi Death Rape Machine to render the dimensional boundaries separating the Human World from the World of Man-Beasts and the World of Monster Demons. Dr. Munhihausen Sr.'s life work is about to come to fruition - the conjuring of the Overfiend! Cut to modern day Tokyo: Munhihausen Jr. searches for a monster with strength enough to conquer the omnipotent Overfiend. Since legend says that he who kills the Overfiend will rule all three worlds forever, Munhihausen is determined to slay the Overfiend and assume complete control over all three dimensions. His efforts seem fruitless - until Nagumo's cousin Takeaki, infused with Nagumo's blood after an accident, begins to develop monstrous powers. As Man-Beast Amano Jyaku and his sister Megumi, together with faithful accomplice Kuroko, attempt to thwart Munhihausen's evil plan, nothing seems likely to prevent Munhihausen, descendant of a race of brutal tyrants, from enslaving the world under his despicable rule!

As the Overfiend slumbers, the mad emperor Caesar rises to power, enslaving a new race of demon beasts. Into this cruel existence is born the Lord of Chaos, the Overfiend's nemesis. As the blood-thirsty beasts capture the tyrant's daughter in a brutal coup, the Overfiend must awaken to an apocalyptic battle of the Gods.

"Inferno Road" was originally to have another ending, which was fully completed but ultimately discarded. This ending was to have revealed that the apparent Chōjin as seen at the start of Urotsukidoji: Return of the Overfiend was not in fact the real Chōjin, but yet another Makai. This alternate ending was to have set up the abandoned "The Lost Chapter".

It is the age of the Overfiend, and flesh-hungry monsters rule the Earth. Immortal half-demon Amano Jyaku travels the wasteland, witness to the rape and torture of the human race. The last hope for humanity is the demonic Lord of Chaos, the Overfiend's natural enemy. Will the world survive their final battle?
