James helps heal the poorly eye of Buster, a 12-year-old American bulldog suffering from a nasty ulcer, and Rory is walking on the wild side with a visit to a reptile centre, where he gets up close with some endangered Chinese crocodile lizards.

Cheryl undertakes dramatic surgery to amputate the leg of King, a 12-year-old Staffie with a cancerous lump on his limb - but will this dog be able to cope with just three legs? Meanwhile, Cat is being given the runaround by a group of Humboldt penguins as she visits a wildlife park in Staffordshire. And Rory meets Ziggy and Stardust, two adorable dogs rescued from the streets of Antigua in the wake of devastating Hurricane Irma.

James helps fix the injured foot of Nellie, a football-mad labrador who keeps falling foul of nasty knocks - do they think it has all healed over? Well, maybe it is now! Cat, meanwhile, has to delve into the gunky ears of Iggy the cat, where she discovers some yucky bumps and lumps. And Rory is doing his neighbourhood rounds to check on Roxy the Staffie and her pups, who he delivered by emergency C-section eight weeks ago.

Cat has her hands full performing surgery on Blue, the flat-coated retriever who can’t stop eating gloves! Cheryl heads out of the practice for a busy day working alongside farm vet Ami. On their rounds she pregnancy-tests a cow, treats a lamb with breathing problems and vaccinates some cute pygmy goats. Meanwhile it's a big night for James and his adorable dog Oliver - this lovely Labrador has a date and James takes him for some pooch-pampering to get him ready.
