Ior, of the Cavern City, sends mutant soldiers to capture people from Arboria (along with Flash, Dale and Gremlin), to play in the game. Athos, a giant, and his people are imprisoned by Ior to participate in the game also. Flash and Athos are pitted against each other and when Flash wins, he spares his life. Athos and Flash then team to defeat Ior and abolish the game forever.
Ming and Enak launch a synthetic meteor to the city of Arboria, which contains a plant-monster. The monster begins to terrorize the city until our heroes capture it and send it back to the magnetic mountains- and back to Ming.
