decided to post in full, the last performance of Carmen Miranda, on the Jimmy Durante Show. In the recording of the program, which took place on the night of August 4 1955, Carmen had a sudden bad, but decided to continue. She died in the early hours of the following day, a 46-year-old victim of a heart attack, probably caused by legal drugs as stimulants and tranquilizers.
It was later added a line from Jimmy at the beginning of the program, which only aired in October, talking about Carmen, who was already dead.
