Buki Elegbede sits down with Senator Cory Booker to discuss access to healthy foods in urban areaa, and learns about his work on the Senate Agriculture Committee. Then, in the hills of Mahwah, Buki tags along for a traditional bonfire with members of the Ramapo trib, to shake off the cold of winter, and enjoy some traditional foods prepared by elders as well members of the youngest generation.

Host Buki Elegbede gets a lesson in a Filipino martial art form from a Filipino artist at Newark Museum. Down in Jamesburg, Buki pairs up with his "adoptive godmothers" Maricel and Ludi, two proud Filipino New Jersey residents. Together, they prepare an enormous potluck and inspire Buki to explore a common ancestral art form: China's Lion Dance.

Host Buki Elegbede visits two establishments who aim to empower people with Disabilities: No Limits Cafe in Red Bank employs dozens of Autistic individuals. Down the road, Oasis Therapeutic Learning Center puts on a "high tea" service, with their residents at the helm.
