This year there is all about films in the The Sewing Bee, where the sewers themselves are the stars. Everything is ready for a thriller opening in the old film studio.

The sewers are surprised when they realise who is the season's first customer. One thing is for sure: it is important to be brave and put yourself out there.

Now is when it counts! The plans from yesterday will be implemented. Did they manage to tailor a garment that says something about the customer? Who wins and who has to go home?

Participants are forced to think completely new, or completely old, when they are sent off in a time machine.

Can old materials be future? The sewers have never sewn in such exclusive fabric as they are given today and the customer is quite exclusive too.

Can the participants manage to make gold from wool? Who makes the best use of the very exclusive fabric? Who has to go home after today's episode?

Get your running shoes, because today there will be an obstacle course in the sewing room! Will they stumble during the race? Or manage to reach the finish line with the right seam at the right time?

Not so many chefs, but there will still be a lot of mess when the world's second best chef needs help. But does he really know what he likes?

The customer has ordered a shirt from old chef's clothes. Who dishes up something in really good taste? And who has to go home to do the dishes?

The body is great, so why don't the clothes from the shops fit? The sewers must adapt different garments to different shapes.
