The final visit to the staff and patients of Royal Derby Hospital. Surgeon Gill faces the difficult decision of whether to operate on cancer patient Maldwyn, while in maternity, trainee midwife Janine meets expectant parents Alison and Alan, who have opted for a planned C-section after losing their daughter the previous year.
