Only hours before the big Hahnenkamm summer party, the tanning salon king Walter Ansbach is beaten to death with a dumbbell in his recently occupied house. He was found by the It-girl Beverly Enders, who was supposed to accompany him to the party together with drag queen Fabienne la Rose and her manager. But there seems to have been a dispute in the run-up. Just like between Ansbach and his ex-wife, from whom he had bought jewelry only the day before his death. Jewelry that has now disappeared. For the SOKO, it is important to find out who would actually commit murder and theft here for the proverbial 15 minutes of fame.

Lukas, Nina and Kroisleitner have to answer to an internal commission of inquiry for the fatal shooting of the murder suspect Max Bruckner. Meanwhile, near Kitzbühel, a charismatic man named Rochus Schwarz conducts a brutal court hearing staged by him. His enemy is the banks, which deprive people of their livelihoods. His goal is justice at all costs. The waitress Anika Eder accidentally observes the secret goings-on - and is found murdered the next day. Was her violent boyfriend to blame for her death? Or did she try to blackmail the self-appointed judge? Lukas decides to investigate undercover to get an insight into his machinations.

In the elevator of the building of a Tyrolean insurance company lies a dead young woman, a bullet in the head. Minutes earlier, she had made a scene for insurance agent Axel Breschan at a company party. The shocked man, however, claims to have never seen the woman. Nina finds out that the victim's name is Ramona Hoffmann and, together with her husband Ivo, runs a "revenge agency" where revenge can be committed on order. Apparently a risky business model. But how could the woman be shot in the moving elevator without a trace to be found? Lukas keeps the long overdue appointment with Dr. Winterberg, the police psychologist assigned to him. She is tasked with writing an expert opinion on his fitness for service.

"For hobby detectives aged 16 and over", an event will be held around Kitzbühel to solve a staged murder case. Clues to the perpetrator are hidden in the area – you just have to find them and interpret them correctly. Hannes and the Countess are given a gift by Lukas and Nina. Hannes is initially against it, but changes his mind when he and the countess find a real body before the event begins: Siegfried Hölzl, owner of one of the largest helicopter companies in Tyrol. Mrs. Hölzl takes the violent death of her husband rather calmly, son Manfred, who was supposed to take part in the detective event with his father, has suddenly disappeared - and remains so. Suddenly, a second body appears: Bernhard Zenlechner, a Kitzbühel lawyer. At first glance, it is only a busy day for the SOKO. At second glance, however, the two cases have suspicious similarities

In Mairach, the word of the post commander Felix Hörtnagel is law. Kroisleitner still remembers this well, because he served under Hörtnagel for five and a half years. Now Christof Mally, Hörtnagel's son-in-law, is found stabbed to death on the street after a visit to a disco. Mally was addicted to gambling. At the "Beach Club", on the evening before his death, he was involved in a brawl with his friend Nikolaus Brunner. But his father Walter is sure that Niki has nothing to do with the murder. District inspector Josef Schratt, Kroisleitner's former colleague, on the other hand, could have a motive. The investigations require special sensitivity from Lukas and Nina – and from Kroisleitner the courage to face his professional and private past.

The coma patient Christian Färber has hardly woken up when he allegedly succumbs to cardiac arrest. But a puncture site in the infusion tube proves that he was murdered. It is not the only unexplained death in hospital. But are the suspicions against the head nurse Gerlinde more than bad gossip? Equally suspicious are his brother Mario and his girlfriend Rita, who has fallen in love elsewhere in the meantime.

After an event at a hut, the womanizer Lars Precht is shot dead during a rapid descent with the "Bockerl". Together with Thomas Sattler, he ran an event agency. The hut keepers, Sepp Lenz and his daughter Anna, obviously liked Lars. They think a horned man is the culprit. There was a dispute with Sattler over money, and a cheese merchant has been making serious accusations for years. For the cheese supplier Valerie Taler, Lars is responsible for the accidental death of her husband.

Theo Walch has just opened an institute for cryonics in Kitzbühel when his managing director and friend Michaela Tangl is found murdered in her bathtub. The investigators of the SOKO not only immerse themselves in a bizarre world in which wealthy people are supposed to be able to live after death by freezing their bodies. Lukas Roither also has to deal with his repressed feelings.

In a basin of the sewage treatment plant floats the body of the wedding photographer Clemens Kreidl. The day before, he had photographed the wedding of the daughter of the entrepreneur Peter Maric. As it soon turns out, however, this was not the only wedding that day. And this turns out not only on the basis of his alcohol level, but also on the basis of a man who can be seen again and again in Kreidl's photos: Simon Worgötter, a wedding tourist. Or a murderer after all? But perhaps Kreidl's wife Angelika was also looking for a radical solution to her relationship problems. Kreidl had to struggle with severe psychological problems due to his many years of work in crisis areas.

Shortly before her divorce, Judge Antonia Weigert is murdered. From her husband, whom she financed? Or did a criminal convicted by her take revenge? The SOKO finds out that the judge had been working on the case of an Italian olive oil adulteration ring. She also comes across the murder trial against Lucy Dolzer, who was found guilty by Weigert of the double murder of her husbands.

The "First Kitzbühel Cheese Dumpling Eating Competition" culminates in the duel between the European champion Wolfgang Neudecker and the challenger Thorsten Hirzinger. Then Neudecker collapses dead. His attending physician, Dr. Valerie Renner, does not notice anything conspicuous. But the forensic pathologist Dr. Haller finds poison in his body. Hirzinger hated the more successful competitor, Astrid Pirkl, mother-in-law and self-confessed ascetic, the glutton.

A body is found in a tumble dryer in a farmstead that is ready for demolition. It is the long-lost Margret Bader. She was a member of a "fun gang" in search of the kick. Lukas breaks up with Mira Winterberg, his psychologist and girlfriend, in a violent argument after a session. The two will no longer have the opportunity to reconcile.

Dr. Mira Winterberg is dead, murdered. She was not only Lukas' therapist, but also his lover. A first lead is the unknown man with whom she recently argued on the phone. It is Richard Steinlechner, the head of a pharmaceutical company. His daughter Eva Hopfer, a borderline patient, has left Dr. Mathias Finz's private clinic, convinced that the psychotropic drugs administered triggered delusions in her. But can she be believed? Her boyfriend Daniel Schott, an ambitious young manager under her father, certainly doesn't. Only Mira Winterberg has investigated her allegations. Despite grief and pain, Lukas throws himself into the investigation with grim verve. He believes he owes this to his dead girlfriend.
