All deaths are sad and we all deal with it differently, my family chooses humor, jokes, laughter and memories. it was such an honor to be present at a traditional scottish funeral, over 400 people attended, bagpipes piped, castle flags were at half mast, the entire community came to say goodbye! i even played a role in helping to carry Farquhar, and then there was the party of all parties as that is how he wanted to be celebrated!

It started out like any other day.. well any other day at Disney that involves the most amazing day and ends with an hot air balloon ride over Disney!! i've seen some people in the comments asking how we manage the rides with the kids, this is main reason we brought someone with us to help because if we didn't we wouldn't be able to split up all the time or been able to go on half the rides we did! so there was 3 adults and 4 kids, 1 to film/drive/make jokes (me) 1 to manage older kids (Anna) and 1 to manage younger kids (friend) its didn't always go in that order but you get the idea!

(Disney do allow this for boys) we did offer him a princess package but he said he wanted to be a prince!
Ever since Andrea came into the mix Eduardo has been influenced and started to show more interest in more "boyish" things! he still loves a good barbie and being his fabulous self but he is changing slightly, growing up, evolving and in our family all the kids are free to be whoever they want and at any point can change their minds too, i believe identity is fluid and love is love

This was the most insane jam packed day ever!! we were at the park before it even opened to try and get to do the Avatar experience, then off to Hollywood studios to a frozen show, followed by the tower of terror which both Emilia and Eduardo went on!!! if you haven't been on it.. its basically an elevator that goes all the way to the top and then breaks and just falls... and then if that wasn't enough we went over to StarWars world and did the Millennium Falcon experience which was just incredible and ended the night with a stage and fireworks show at Disney!! what a last day it was!!

As some of you know, Anna is a US citizen so it has always been an open door for us if we ever wanted to move there. A few months before we moved to the UK we had gone as far as hiring a company to ship the dogs over and started looking for a house when i ended up making contacts in London and we decided to explore this route instead but now all these years later its still something that we both are open too.
I think we would look at living in both countries as an option, so school term in the UK so they wouldn't have to lose their friends but all other times in the US.. it sounds like a crazy plan but the cost of living in the US is dramatically less then where we live in the UK, house prices are much better too plus if we moved near any of the Disney parks we could go there all the time!
it's just a thought that might become something more or might not.. life is life that! but i wanted to put it out there into the world as its what we are thinking about right now.

i know how close we are all going to become, sharing this much of your life can bring in so much drama, being over analyzed about every word, reported for every mistake, judged hardly and spoken about in the worst light but.. it also creates a community, a closeness, a friendship with us and you and that i what i want to re-connect!

There is not one person ever who didn't have to overcome or deal with mental health at some point in there life but most people are amazing actors and don't even know it so without knowing who is acting and who is not just be kind to everyone and the world will be a better place!

If we want to take any positive from all this as that i feel like there is a greater sense of community forming around the world, a lot of past problems have been pushed aside and hopefully when this all passes we can reflect on this and re-build a better world!

For some of you who have been following us for the last 10 years would probably know Oma, or Omi to the kids, now that Anna's mom has become the Oma! The hardest part of this situation is we cant be with the family at this time, we cant even be in the same country, it gives us an insight to what all the families out there who are in this situation feel, its very odd.. we know she is gone but yet its hard to process it remotely! Hopefully in a few months we can all meet up again and have some kind of service to celebrate her life! She as born in the late 1920s in Germany and died in the early 2020s in Ireland leaving a legacy of 4 kids, 9 grandkids and 4 great grandkids.. i can only hope for that kind of life success!

All those years ago we had no idea what was ahead for us, no thoughs of a family, Anna did however always state that a dog was going to become part of our lives early on.. she forgot to mention the other 5 that would follow shortly after but thats for another video.
