Roger Abbott was a pioneer in Canadian Comedy and will be remembered for his work on the much loved Royal Canadian Air Farce of which he was a founding member and producer. Over the years, he was honoured with numerous awards for his work, including 15 ACTRA awards, a Juno, the Governor General's Performing Arts Award and a star on Canada's Walk of Fame.
This special highlights some of Roger's most memorable moments on Air Farce. A master of impersonation and comedic characters, his work covered former Prime Minister Jean Chrétien, CBC chief correspondent Peter Mansbridge, singer Leonard Cohen and the misogynist TV critic Gilbert Smythe Bite-Me.
