A live current affairs programme hosted by ITV News political editor Robert Peston.
Providing a distinctive perspective on the major stories of the day, Peston on Sunday will feature in-depth interviews with guests from across the political spectrum as well as figures from across the cultural landscape.
Robert Peston says: “I’m excited by the opportunity to bring to ITV’s viewers a live, Sunday morning programme which will provide a distinctive forum for insight and opinion on what is happening in our world. I want to find out more about the important decision-makers who shape our society, beyond their two-dimensional political profiles. So this is not purely a political programme. The aim is to exist beyond the Westminster ‘bubble’ to offer an insight into our culture and be part of the national conversation on issues that affect everyone.”
Robert Peston's guests this week are shadow chancellor John McDonnell, Wikileaks founder Julian Assange and stand-up comedian Omid Djalili.
