On the Rocks with Jim & A.Ron

You like the idea of Lunch with Jim and A.Ron but can't watch at work or live on the other side of the globe or otherwise feel temporally displaced? We might have a solution for you, OtRwJ&A. It's LWJ&A, but 8 hours later! It's Lunch for Australians! Whatever you call it, it's going to be bi-weekly-ish, on at 9PM EST, and we'll be drinking and interacting with you via the Q&A google app.

It's the late-night version of LWJ&A for all the non-American fans.

Grab your Alexander and hit the tubes for your every-other-week dose of 'On the Rocks'

Before Dinner Cocktail 1 part Campari 1 part Red Vermouth A splash of soda water Mix the ingredients directly in an old-fashioned glass filled with ice-cubes, add a splash of soda water and garnish with half orange slice.

Angel Face Recipe: 1 part Calvados 1 part Gin 1 part Apricot brandy Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake. Strain into a cocktail glass.

All Day Cocktail 4.5 cl Gin 1.5 cl Maraschino 1.5 cl Fresh lemon juice Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Before Dinner Cocktail 4.5 cl Bacardi Carta Blanca 2 cl Fresh lime juice 1 cl Grenadine Pour all ingredients into shaker with ice cubes, shake well, strain into chilled cocktail glass.

On the Rocks is back at last with the next drink on the IBA list: Between the Sheets. All Day Cocktail 3 cl Cognac 3 cl White Rum 3 cl Triple Sec 2 cl Fresh lemon juice Pour all ingredients into shaker with ice cubes, shake, strain into chilled cocktail glass.

This was going to be the Casino edition of On the Rocks but I realized too late that I didn’t have bitters and my lemons had gone bad. That’s what I get for not shopping after vacation. So sit back with some sipping whiskey and join us for this straight edition of On the Rocks.

All Day Cocktail 4 cl Old Tom Gin 1 cl Maraschino 1 cl Orange Bitters 1 cl Fresh lemon Juice Pour all ingredients into shaker with ice cubes, shake well. Strain into chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a lemon twist and a marachino cherry.
