Tourism – Iran – Rageh Omaar
After an historic deal was agreed earlier this year on Iran’s nuclear programme, relations with the West are finally starting to thaw. With long-standing sanctions finally being eased as part of the deal, the country is now looking forward to a potential boom in tourism and trade. Rageh Omaar travelled to the capital Tehran to find a country of contradictions, preparing to welcome visitors from Britain and the West, yet still deeply suspicious of America and her allies.

Alok Jha visits the “School in the Cloud” where children are set problems to solve using the Internet. Can this innovative approach kick-start a revolution in education, particularly in remote parts of the world where good teachers can be hard to find?
