Osborne Head and Neck Institute is an innovative ear, nose and throat / head and neck surgical practice based at the Cedar Sinai Medical Towers in Los Angeles, California. OHNI founder, Dr. Ryan Osborne, led 17 team members on their first medical mission trip to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in January of 2016. In 10 days, the OHNI team performed 16 minor operations, 51 major operations, and treated over 1000 patients in the clinic.

The OHNI team faces the difficult decision of how to treat a young woman who discovers a tumor in her parotid gland while she is in the second trimester of her pregnancy. The surgeons must treat this potentially cancerous growth without harming the patient or her baby.

This episode features a 16-year- old girl from the Midwest who discovers a growth in her face. Despite her young age, she must make adult decisions about complex surgery. Her close-knit family, church, and community support her in her search for the best surgical care. When she comes to Osborne Head and Neck Institute, Dr. Ryan Osborne and Dr. Jason Hamilton must decide how to handle a growth that is exceedingly rare in a pediatric patient. They must determine the best plan of action, recognizing surgery could have disfiguring, life-altering consequences.

This episode features a 5-year-old boy from Ventura, California who has been suffering with recurrent growths on his vocal cords.

The OHNI medical team encounter a New Jersey woman with a giant tumor who has given up hope. Her daughter tricks her into a consultation with Dr Ryan Osborne and Dr Jason Hamilton which ultimately changes her life and their careers.

The OHNI family pack their bags and travel to Central America. Specifically, to Belmopan, Belize to assist the Western Regional Medical Center meet the Ear, Nose, Throat/Head and Neck surgical needs of the citizens of Belize. Sponsored by the Osborne Head and Neck Foundation (OHNF) and the worldwide community supporters of the global outreach efforts of OHNI. The team works together to tackle a wide range of problems from hearing loss to skin cancer. They remove live beetles from the ear canal and tumors from awake patients under local anesthesia. Friendships are made, trust is built, and more than 55 major operations are completed.

Lydia Simpson is a woman who was diagnosed with a deep lobe parapharygeal space tumor. She was told she would likely suffer facial paralysis and would need her jaw split in order to remove the tumor. Relying upon the support of her husband Ward, CEO of God TV, they pray for direction and guidance.

Dr Ryan F. Osborne travels to India to locate a site for a humanitarian medical mission. He travels to the state of Punjab and makes plans for the OHNI Team to come back in March 2018 and provide free medical and surgical care to those in need.

Dr. Osborne was invited to Serbia by the Minister of Health. He accepted this invitation and put together a small OHNI delegation to engage in a medical exchange between the United States and the Republic of Serbia. Waleed was diagnosed with bilateral large parotid Wharthin's tumors. Only about 10 to 20 percent of patients with parotid tumors will be diagnosed with a Warthin's tumor, and only about 5 percent of Warthin's tumors will present on both parotid glands simultaneously. It was the rarity of his case and the risk of bilateral facial paralysis that made Waleed seek out the OHNI team.
