They're quite literally learning on the job! They're thrown in at the deep end when they have to deal with a blocked loo before taking their home on wheels to the Grand Canyon, where they're blown away by the views. We join young couple Chris and Sam from Plymouth, who've packed in their jobs and are ready to take to the open road. They're busy working on their self-converted van that they've spent the last 10 months turning from an ex-minibus into their new home from home. The last job before it's completed is to finish off the roof terrace so they can finally start their European adventure! We find out why TV presenter Matt Allwright loves his campervan as he gives us a tour and takes his friend Davy canoeing on the River Thames. Across the pond, Texan couple Dane and Deena are planning a two-year motorhoming adventure. They've never motorhomed before and will be doing it with their six children! This supersized family need a supersized vehicle! They've converted an old double-decker night bus into their dream home on wheels. It's now worth over a million pounds, and today they're setting off on their first overnight trip! We meet up with her after she's had a bit of a bump and poor Dora needs to go to the garage to get her bumper replaced. Siobhan has everything crossed that it's not an expensive a job! In Hereford, we meet Lamorna and husband G, who bought a double-decker bus two years ago and have painstakingly restored it into their new home on wheels. They want to get on the road and head for the coast, but there's one big problem — G doesn't have an HGV licence! Will he pass the test and get them on the road? Across the Atlantic, we meet Sarah and Paul, who have turned their passion for iconic Airstreams into their business. They sold everything and built a 30-acre retro motorhome resort. You can rent a pitch for your own vintage motorhome or you can hire one of theirs. One customer is Bob, who's originally from the UK.
