Leap in the Dark

A girl who can see into the future and read people's thoughts is accused of being a witch. Matters come to a head when her teacher threatens to expel her from school.

Two women (played by Jennie Linden and Rula Lenska) who have spent their lives hating each other and who both suspect their houses to be haunted later come to understand the reason behind all the strange goings on.

An emotionally disturbed young woman is the focus of poltergeist activity.

"The Living Grave" was an episode based on a past life regression case from 1977/78. While under hypnosis, a young woman appears to be reliving the past life of a girl from Devon named Kitty Jay. Hypnotherapist Joe Keeton, played by Ian Hogg, and two investigators try to see if there is any truth in her story.

Mr Quilling, played by Alan Dobie, investigates the house of a widow who believes her husband and a girl in white are haunting the place.

In this episode - "Room For An Inward Light" - Brian Blessed plays the part of novelist Thomas Myers, a writer eager for serious recognition and who finds help in the form of Bernard played by Chris Strauli. Interesting and rather amusing little ghost story if you've never seen it before.

In this episode - "To Kill A King" - depressed author, Harry played by Anthony Bate, is suffering from writer's block. His agent, David, and his sister, Clare, do not help matters. However, Harry's home is a mediaeval manor house, and he is not entirely alone... Who or what is the beautiful woman who appears to him there?
