Monika continues to immerse herself in the world of rock 'n' roll, while her mother Caterina still wants her to marry Joachim Franck and promises Monika a date. Although Monika discovers another side of Joachim, she makes it clear to him that she no longer wants to see him. While Eva and Helga have to choose between their feelings and social standing, Monika continues to emancipate herself from her mother with the help of rock 'n' roll.
