In the Company of Men

This episode gives a portrait of Major Crispin Black, the 34 year old commander of a Company in the Welsh Guards Regiment.

This episode follows Lieutenant Bruce MacInnes, a young university graduate, who has a tough time asserting his authority over the Guards.

After two and a half years in Northern Ireland, the Company is preparing to return to its role of guarding the Royal Household. This episode goes inside the closed world of the camp into the Army life of discipline, drill and camaraderie.
