Volunteers at the front

Michella is a trained chef, and Jacob is a teacher. They are volunteers in the Danish Home Guard. They spend most of their time in the Home Guard solving military tasks for Denmark. And as volunteers in the Danish Marine Home Guard, they have now been given the task of securing the Port of Esbjerg against espionage from hostile powers when a large American cargo ship arrives with a cargo full of NATO war materiel destined for Eastern Europe. "Volunteers in the front" follows the volunteers in the Home Guard. They come from very different backgrounds, but have one thing in common: in their spare time, they solve important national and international tasks for Denmark.
