This pilot episode was for many their first glimpse of huge headed Timperley legend Frank Sidebottom (Chris Sievey) and his squeaky voiced sidekick Little Frank. Joining him are Home And Away's Sharyn Hodgson, broadcaster 'Diddy' David Hamilton and British TV stalwart James Whale. Perhaps improbably (for many bemused viewers) a series was commissioned following this pilot.
