Fairground Festival

Le nom de Paul Kalkbrenner est indissociable de la musique electro dance. L’artiste devenu iconique a émergé à Berlin, en plein âge d’or de la techno. Son premier album Superimpose sort en 2001. Pendant des années, Stephan Bodzin a surtout œuvré comme producteur dans le domaine de l’electro. Avec Oliver Huntemann, l’artiste natif de Brême porte un projet de pop dance intitulé Kaycee – sans parler de ses remixes de Frankie Goes To Hollywood et Sinead O'Connor. En 2007, Bodzin sort son premier album Liebe ist … (L’amour est…)

Sa carrière commence par des fêtes que le musicien organise dans sa ville natale, Herborn. En 2010, il sort son premier EP Start ohne Ende (en français, un début sans fin), un opus inspiré par Trentemøller et Stephan Bodzin. Aujourd’hui, le Berlinois d’adoption sillonne les festivals techno du monde entier. En témoigne sa participation au Fairground Festival 2023. Franky Wah se laisse emporter par la musique dès l’adolescence. Très jeune, l’artiste britannique est en effet fasciné par le hip-hop de la côte Ouest. Il découvre des pointures comme Roger Sanchez ou Paul Johnson et se passionne pour la dance. Son premier album House Party sort en 2017. Rune Reilly Kølsch, alias Kölsch, est un DJ producteur de techno danois. L’un de ses plus grands succès s’intitule "Calabria". Sa carrière atteint littéralement des sommets en 2017, lorsqu’il livre un set depuis le 2e étage de la tour Eiffel. As a teenager, Jan Blomqvist played in a punk band but he had already been won over by electro. The video he created for the song "Something Says", filmed on a rooftop terrace at Alexanderplatz in Berlin, brought him fame across the world. Skiy is one of the rising stars on the house and techno scene. A proponent of happy vibes, the artist blends melodic techno and house with oriental and Latin sounds. Liverpool-born DJs Dave Whelan and Mike Di Scala founded CamelPhat in 2004. In 2017, they released "Cola", a track produced with London DJ Elderbrook. A year later, "Cola" was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Dance Recording category. Dark Matter, the duo's debut album, was released in 2020.
