Doug can’t get a chance to propose to Erica, but without his knowing, she sees the ring, and she’s horrified. Egged on by Orla, Kira’s preparations for the fashion show grow more and more ambitious. Mairead realises her feelings for Dean. Renee’s plans for a co-op shop are interrupted by a shock arrival.

Jacinta stands in the way of Renee’s ambitions as the community shop’s kingpin. Orla’s actions threaten to derail Kira’s big event. Mairead encourages Dean to date other people. As Doug sweats over the lost ring, Erica confides in Sharon and Georgie.

A missing designer handbag hijacks Kira’s preparations for the charity auction. A stressed Erica instructs Georgie to ramp up his efforts to dissuade Doug from proposing. Jacinta pushes a reluctant Greg into going up against Renee for the Co-op manager’s job. Mairead and Dean are shocked when Renee discovers them in a compromising position.

Mairead is surprised to find that Renee is sympathetic to her situation. Furious that Jacinta has dug up dirt on Ellie’s past, Renee joins forces with Greg. Erica takes her frustration out on Doug, leaving him concerned for her state of mind. Kira is pushed to the brink when amateur models, Emma and her golfing friends, bring chaos to the charity auction rehearsal.

Erica freaks when Doug insists today is the day he proposes. Renee gears up to face off against Jacinta who is interviewing her for the shop position. Dean and Mairead feel the awkwardness of their situation hit hard. Kira, in the wake of the auction fiasco, gets support from an unexpected source.

Fergal, struggling to find any friends to support him, comes face to with an important figure from his past. Georgie is concerned when Erica does a complete about turn in her attitude to the wedding. Greg,anxious to make a good impression, proves an easy target for a workshy Ian. Nikki is thwarted when Pete outsmarts her.

Fergal has a surprise in store for Liam, who’s mind is focused on getting Carol back. Nikki sees an opportunity in Erica and Doug’s wedding planning, while Ian makes Greg dance to his tune in work and Dolores and Pete bond over their separation.

Nikki spots an opportunity to make some cash out of Erica’s desperation for a slot at her dream wedding venue. Ellie becomes further enamoured with Ian. With assistance from Steo, Fergal wins back Rayno’s respect. And Jacinta issues Fergal with an ultimatum, but is there more to his new friendship with Liam?

A desperate Jacinta takes revenge on Liam. Doug is horrified to discover Erica lied to him. Ian blames Greg when he’s reprimanded by Maxine. Ellie is flattered by Ian’s attention.

Carol warns Liam he’s playing with fire while Jacinta and Fergal plot his downfall. Gwen discover she’s running out of friends and favours. Ian plays mind games with Greg. Jess wants Ellie to steer clear of Ian.

Fergal and Jacinta band together to take Liam down. James, resenting Gwen’s ubiquitous presence, finds a way to get rid of her. When Greg stands up to Ian, Ellie fears he will pay a price.

Liam digs himself into a deeper hole when he tries to resolve his dispute with Jacinta and Fergal. James’s threat to expose Gwen’s scam backfires. Ellie tries to do right by Greg but only makes matters worse.

Goaded by Jacinta and Fergal, Liam does something he instantly regrets. Buoyed by a successful performance review, Greg bites back at Ian. When Maxine goes out of her way to resolve Nikki’s missing phone issue, Sash starts to see her in a new light. Gwen and James park their animosity for the greater good; making a quick buck.

Carol brokers peace with Fergal but Liam is too stubborn to accept a deal. Mairead and Dean get careless but can’t end their affair. Gwen is more than a match for James as they jostle for control of their get rich scheme. Nikki intervenes to matchmake for a hesitant Sash and Maxine.

Liam is left friendless when he refuses to make a sacrifice for Fergal. Mairead and Dean vow to enjoy their short time before Damien returns. James and Gwen fool Joan, but she announces she’s coming to stay. Sash can’t help prioritising work and sabotages her date with Maxine.

As Dean wonders why he’s never been lucky in love, Tommy urges him to do the right thing for Mairead. Gwen and James’ money making scam runs into problems with Joan determined to move in. Nikki grows suspicious of Maxine, but has she got the wrong end of the stick? Liam puts Fergal’s threats in his rear view mirror, but Jacinta has no intentions of letting go that easily.
