During the rescue from the Peruvian army, there is an unexpected reunion with Jack Wilder's ex-lover Maria. Together they follow the clues to El Dorado and have to overcome mysterious traps on their way through the Peruvian Andes and fend off sacred curses in defense of the treasure. But soon they face an even more extreme - catastrophic - threat.
