The two men travel to Friends’ Meeting, the once-peaceful Quaker community where outlaw Royal Bodie and his gang are extorting money for water and ‘“protection” of the farmers’ crops. When Bodie is killed, the gang delivers an ultimatum: Turn over the killer or watch the town burn.
