Currie enlists Sarah Richardson and design inc. to bring family friendly appeal to a decades-old boathouse just rescued from the brink of destruction. Carte-blanche on the project means little, once siblings chime in with their own ideas for the treasured space. Being in cottage country adds the challenge of 2½ hours of nightmarish traffic each way. In the end, Currie’s Boathouse pays tribute to their family’s past while welcoming future generations.

Sarah tackles the project on her own as the rest of her team is working full tilt on other projects. Caroline’s colourful design aesthetic is contrary to Sarah’s typical clean, streamlined approach yet the bathroom ends up a dynamic, completely usable space!
