A fresh face in for Canadian Comedy, Lachlan Patterson is on stage tonight.

Sugar Sammy is an Indian comedian from Montreal who started doing stand-up comedy at 19 in Yuk Yuk's. He was voted Best of Show for the Just For Laughs Festival and has performed all over the world. He has appeared on Video On Trial, The Comedy Network, CTV, and a Dutch television network.

Born in Goderich, Ontario, Erica's mischievous nature and cynical but silly take on things have helped her become one of Canada's newest rising stars. She has been featured on CBC radio's Madly Off In All Directions, Zed TV and the nationally broadcast Prairie Crop, filmed live at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival.

A common sight at Yuk Yuk's clubs across Canada, Wafik has performed at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, the Nubian Disciples of Pryor and the Fruitopia Comedy Festival. Wafik has also headlined the "We're Not Terrorists" comedy show.

Toby's first steps into the world of Comedy were in Improv and Sketch, in 1992. Toby relies on the truth, which he is convinced is the funniest thing of all. A skilled storyteller, he currently performs in Vancouver area.

Born in Toronto and now residing in Ottawa with his wife and two children, Mike brings his unique style and observations about life. He was voted the funniest man in Ottawa he has since travelled around Canada. Can be heard on CBC Radio's Madly off in all Directions.

Born in Oakville, Mark is one of Toronto's most glorified comedians in the present times, appearing at The Laugh Resort, Yuk Yuk's, and The Rivoli. Mark studied at Humber College in the Comedy Program and appeared as the spokesperson in the Molson Ex "Had Ex Today?" commercials. He was a finalist for Canada's Funniest New Comic.

Trevor Boris has become one of the most successful Toronto-based comedians of the present. Born near Winnipeg, he has largely become a stand-up comedic genius as well as become an icon of comedy on MuchMusic's Video On Trial and Stars Gone WIld. He has numerous performance appearances and several other TV credits, with plenty more planned in the future.

John Jason (JJ) hails from Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia and lives in England. In the past year he has made an appearance at the Melbourne festival, filmed a pilot for channel 4 in Britain, and finished his third solo run in four years at the prestigious Edinburgh festival.

This Toronto born comic began his career at the young age of seventeen where he performed in front of his highschool. At twenty-one, while attending the University of Windsor, Dylan was nominated by the Canadian Comedy Awards for Funniest New Comedian in Canada. His appearance at "Yuk Yuk's search for Canada's Funniest New Comic" was screened nationally on CTV and the Comedy Network. Dylan has attended several comedy festivals for his sharp wit and physical comedy. He was invited to attend the Just For Laughs International Comedy Festival where he performed in the Just For Laughs Homegrown Competition. He also attended the Boston Comedy Festival where he was cast to perform for the Comcast Network (From Seattle Comedy Competition website).

Terry McGurrin is both an actor and a writer, currently known as Joe and Eric Bacon on the cartoon series Wayside. He does comedy stand-up at night and was a series regular on Comedy Inc..

An icon of comedy for more than 25 years, Kenny has appeared in comedy clubs all over Canada, all over TV, and even on the big screen in films.
