They take you to the second row, which means you can go to World 6 and warp backwards to World 5. In the Japanese version, a fourth warp whistle is available to collect in 5-1, which means you can theoretically play the game forever. At 24;18, I mention that Mario's subpixel position cannot be set to any specific value other than at the very start of the run. This is not entirely accurate. It is possible to set up a subpixel value, but the latest point it could be set at is the previous Boom Boom fight, which wouldn't help for the wall jump. However, it is used in other categories to set up a wall clip in the first room of Bowser's Castle for the 5-second slower route.
