Dennis, a burned-out ex-police officer hiding behind a failing Scottish pub in Benidorm, meets Rosa, an actress obsessed with crime shows, and together they solve mysteries. In their first case, a Take That tribute act is the big draw at the Hotel Ahora when 'Robbie' announces he is quitting the band and running off to Faliraki with the hostelry manager's daughter.
