BBC Proms in the Park

Alex Jones and Steffan Powell present the first half of BBC Proms in the Park 2019, live from Singleton Park, Swansea. Celebrating the end of another fantastic Proms season, they are be joined by Welsh singer, actress and West End star Sophie Evans, saxophonist and BBC Young Jazz Musician 2018, Xhosa Cole, and winner of BBC Cardiff Singer of the World 2019 baritone, Andrei Kymach. They perform popular classical, jazz, musical theatre and film favourites with the BBC National Orchestra and Chorus of Wales, conducted by Robert Ames.

Live from Glasgow Green, Jamie MacDougall presents an evening of fabulous music performed by the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and a selection of world-class soloists. Topping the bill is Scottish singing legend Barbara Dickson who will be performing some of her classic tracks, and performers from a range of musical styles make this an evening with something for everyone. Performing live with the BBC SSO, conducted by Stephen Bell, will be Scottish soprano Eleanor Dennis, violinist Stephanie Childress, BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician 2019 Benedict Morris and the Glasgow Youth Choir.

International sensation Barry Manilow plays Proms in Hyde Park with a career spanning over 50 years, a catalogue of hits and accompaniment from the BBC Concert Orchestra.

Highlights from Hyde Park for Last Night of the Proms, Michael Ball presents headliner Barry Manilow, plus a night of music from Les Misérables, Hamilton, Kingdom Choir, Rock Choir, Russian soprano Aida Garifullina, Aled Jones, Russell Watson, Jack Savoretti, Chrissie Hynde, Gabrielle, Lighthouse Family and the BBC Concert Orchestra.

BBC Proms in the Park returns to Singleton Park, Swansea, for an evening of classical, pop, jazz, musical theatre and film favourites, plus all the traditional Last Night of the Proms celebrations. Alex Jones and Steffan Powell present highlights of this special concert featuring performances from Welsh actress, singer and West End star Sophie Evans, saxophonist and BBC Young Jazz Musician 2018 Xhosa Cole, winner of BBC Cardiff Singer of the World 2019, baritone Andrei Kymach. Show headliners ABC perform a set of their perfect 80s pop hits, including Poison Arrow and Look of Love, all accompanied by the BBC National Orchestra and Chorus of Wales, conducted by Robert Ames.

Join us for the biggest classical music event of the year from Titanic Slipways in Belfast. An international line-up of soloists perform with Ulster Orchestra under the baton of David Brophy. Featuring Susan Boyle, tenor Mark Vincent, pianist Elizabeth Brauss, acclaimed violinist Ziyu He, BBC Young Musician finalist and local musician Tom Myles, and the New Irish Chamber Choir.
