Meanwhile Dave heads south to pick up an extremely rare 1969 Ford Cortina 3000 GT Savage Estate that was owned by the legendary British racing driver and creator of the Savage brand of modified Cortinas himself, Jeff Uren. Meanwhile, a 3-litre V6 Ford Capri complete with roll cage, is wheeled out for the first time in nearly 40 years. And a serial car buyer from Lichfield finds he can't say no to a stunning 1969 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia. The car, dating from the late 1960s, has been lovingly restored, and all it took was one look for Wayne to fall in love and buy it. Derek too is bowled over by its charm: "when you get one as nice as this, they do hit you".
