The Battalion Fire and Rescue

Training at an Airport is the most critical training needed in the world. We start with a tour of this beautiful station and it's amenities for these firefighters. These 1st Responders only have seconds before a plane my burst into flames.

Today we ride with the crew on Engine 1 from headquarters. We head over to the training tower for some hose training. First is the grueling training regiment running a high rise up flights of stairs. Followed by a medical call from a homeless shelter. Later on the night shift a motorcyclist speeding on a very high overpass flips over the wall and falls 300 feet to the ground and needs assistance.

We start with a trip on the new fireboat that has just arrived from Canada. We are at Station 4 near the old downtown part of Tampa. A medical call comes in about a young boy on a downed motorcycle. The Captain on Engine 4 takes us to visit some of the dangers they protect Port of Tampa from. A medical call comes in and it may be a person that had a heart attack. Engine 4 arrives on scene.

This show stars with a ride on the fastest fireboat of it's size in the world. The Captain hits a sandbar on its journey and has to be escorted to the Marjorie Park Yacht Basin's by Tampa Bay water based division of the Tampa Bay Fire and Rescue department.

The morning starts off with a medical call and a young women needs help. Followed by a structure fire, Engine 5 is the first in.

This 24 starts with a medical call. A call comes in for an electrical fire, the Captain examines the box. A fire department tradition continues as retired Captain Ditman steps down and his son takes command at Station 11.
