Hot off her amazing success at the Junior European championships, artistic gymnast Amelie has been selected for the European Championships, where she will be competing as part of the senior female team along with her heroes Ellie Downie, Claudia Fragapane and Alice Kinsella.
It’s a huge jump up for Amelie, and she not only has the pressure of being the youngest on the team, she is also having to compete without best friend and training partner, Phoebe, by her side. However, Phoebe has managed to convince her parents to let her go to Poland to support Amelie and has persuaded gymnast Alice to come with her as well. Will Amelie be able to hold her nerve and deliver a performance that will make her team-mates proud?

Trampoline gymnast Theo has been getting used to competing at big competitions and has been selected to compete at the British Championships in a few weeks’ time. However, he has a huge challenge ahead of him, as rather than competing on his own, his coach thinks he’d be perfect in a synchro pair, and a partner has been found. His new partner, however, trains 200 miles away, so they won’t be able to practice together, and won’t even meet until they are at the competition! Theo’s friends are helping him out as they try to get to grips with technology and everyone is hoping some virtual training will pay off.

The boys are trained by coach Luke, who is himself a former Olympian, and they are are setting themselves big targets for the fast approaching National Championships. British champion Zion has been fighting an injury but is determined to come back stronger this year. Trumaine also had an injury, which lost him his place in the National Squad last season, and he’s determined to win it back. The youngest squad member, Codi, just needs to hold his nerve, while Winston is also fighting for a place in the squad, but as the oldest boy in the squad it’s his last chance this year in his current age group.

Morgan has been given a lovely new partner, Evie, but Alannah is still waiting for her new partner to be found. Harry and George are hoping to make a big impact and superstar choreographer Andrew has been called in to fine tune the boys' performance, which Coach Nicky hopes will give them the edge.

However, they have now moved in the Senior category where the competition is tougher, the routines harder, and on top of all that, Kirsten has grown taller meaning theyare having to adjust many of their moves to accommodate the growth spurt! Thankfully, she is now back to full fitness and is off to her grading competition to see if she can pass the tests and qualify as an elite gymnast, which will mean she can compete at the British Championships. The artistic girls have a big competition looming - the British Team Championships, where the top gymnastics clubs go head to head in the hope that they are awarded the cup for the best team in Britain.
Competition is fierce as it is the only competition where you are competing for your club, and Amelie and Phoebe are pretty confident as The Academy Angels are the current cup holders. However, the day before the competition, Liz calls the girls in for a team briefing. They face a setback as Amelie has suffered an ankle injury. She is currently the team’s strongest competitor and her injury means she will only be able to compete on bars. It is a huge blow to the team and means two of the younger juniors, Alice and Madi, will have to step up to be part of the senior team and compete against Team GB gymnastic champions such as Alice Kinsella, Kelly Simm and Taeja James.

The artistic seniors are back from the World Championships and have qualified for the next Olympic Games, so it’s time for the GB coaches to start thinking about who will make up the Olympic team.
Both Amelie and Phoebe have been invited to an elite training camp in Liverpool with the rest of the senior squad, including Olympians Claudia Fragapane and Ellie and Becky Downie, and European and Commonwealth champions Kelly Simm, Alice Kinsella and Georgia Mae Fenton. Amelie and Phoebe need to do well here to be picked for the Olympic training camp. After a gruelling camp, coach Liz has a special treat in store for Amelie and Phoebe – they are off to a spa for some well-earned rest and relaxation!

Nerves are already high, but on top of that they come up against an obstacle that no-one could have predicted and is out of their control. A surprising new partnership is announced when coach Nikki decides to pair up Dylan and Nyree. This is a big challenge for Nyree, as she has never been in a mixed pair before. On top of that, Nikki wants to get the pair ready for the Acro World Championships in just a few weeks’ time.
