Olsen gang

In the year of 1958, Egon Olsen, the child genius, tries to escape the orphanage where he lives by setting himself up to be adopted by a rich couple. Problems arise when it turns out that the couple are rocket scientists who want to use him as a test subject to be sent into space.

The Olsen Gang receives an unusual assignment from the Danish government: they are to retrieve Hans Christian Andersen’s valuable writing quill, intended as a symbolic gift for an important international agreement. What initially seems like a simple heist soon turns into a complex and dangerous game with unknown opponents. As always, Egon has a brilliant plan – but once again, things don’t go quite as expected, and the gang finds themselves in the middle of another adventure full of surprises.

The shady businessman Bang Johansen plans to sell a secret Danish invention – an oil optimization machine of apparent great importance – to the highest bidder. The Olsen Gang catches wind of the deal and is determined to stop it at all costs. Naturally, Egon Olsen already has a plan, one that involves a seagull, a diving suit, an inflatable boat, and a seaplane.
