Matthew Murray hails from the city of Salem Massachusetts, where he and his twin brother Ryan Murray co-own the Black Veil Studio of Tattoo & Art. His artwork is very much inspired by the energy and history of their home, Salem Massachusetts. As well as heavy influences drawn from the death and mourning of New England’s Victorian past times. His illustrations manifest a deep fascination for capturing a glimpse through the keyhole of a veil between two worlds.
