The Genoese police station of San Teodoro is turned upside down by the arrival of Blanca, a young blind woman who can finally realize the dream she has had since childhood: becoming a police consultant. Blanca initially faces everyone's distrust, but she soon demonstrates that she can make an original contribution to the investigations starting with the case of Margherita, a woman found dead under the former Morandi Bridge in mysterious circumstances. While she begins to establish a relationship with Lucia, the victim's twelve-year-old daughter, Blanca uses her ability to compensate with her other senses and an incredible intuition for her lack of sight and her "superpowers" prove invaluable in the investigation of the case.

Just when Blanca tries to convince herself that she doesn't care about Liguori, having discovered his affair with the journalist Marinella, her son disappears. Commissioner Bacigalupo thinks of a voluntary removal, but Blanca discovers that little Gabriele has been kidnapped.
