Then there is a jubilee in the whole of Denmark's back tent! Seven women and three men are ready to celebrate the 10th anniversary, and give it gas with mousses, ganaches and elegant chocolate work. During the season, they will be exposed to a lot of guest judges from previous seasons, and reunions with legendary cakes from the history of the baking competition. There is a high level of both the cakes and the mood when the participants are let loose in themes such as marzipan, new cake trends, yeast, well-known cakes from all over the world and "the judges' favourites". The premiere program's very first challenge is a birthday cake for The Big Baking Contest, made from the participants' 10 individual cakes - combined into one big, beautiful cake.

There are some cakes that are just mentioned again and again when talking about golden moments from The Great Baking Contest. In the secret challenge, the participants must now try their hand at one of the particularly legendary cakes from the past - after a visit from the cake's creator. It is about cake trends and tendencies from the international cake universe in the seventh episode of the anniversary season. The five participants throw themselves into the plant-based sweet kitchen when they have to serve beautiful and tasty vegan pies for both Katrine, Markus and a specially invited panel of guest judges. The secret challenge requires fine motor skills, color sense and aesthetics. And then the masterpiece challenge offers a new edible internet phenomenon: the so-called "fault line cake".

Timm's favorite is a delicious breakfast table with a perfectly risen and baked sourdough bread. Katrine is responsible for the masterpiece task for the semi-finalists, namely crisp, flaky and delicious cream cakes with puff pastry. There is almost a hat trick at the festivities in the back tent at Clausholm Castle. It's finals time, it's the 10th season and it's program number 100 in The Great Baking Contest! The three participants kick off the party by making fantastic reception mini-cakes for the final's many guests. The secret challenge becomes almost literally a battle for the trophy, when the participants have to create an edible version of the winner's trophy.

Der er garanti for masser af julestemning og eminent samarbejde, når parrene bager, smager og kæmper sig igennem udfordringerne. De skal trylle med glasurdekoration på lækre julesmåkager, og præsentere dem i en hjemmelavet, hyggelig "julescenografi". Mesterværksudfordringen giver rig mulighed for at vise alle talenter, når det gælder julede smage og masser af kreativ pynt. Og så har dommer-Katrine designet en hemmelig udfordring, som kræver et teamwork i top - inden der kan kåres et vinderpar.
