5 of the program's former participants will ensure the Christmas atmosphere when they compete in Christmas baking. Stefan and Louise from previous years' Bakedyster take on Liva, Mette and Tobias, who have been in the program this year. In the Christmas Baking Contest, the participants have to bake their favorite cookies and make delicious Christmas confections. Timm Vladimir surprises them with a slightly different, secret challenge, and then they have to make a very personal Christmas cake. Only the three best move on to the New Year's programme, where the winner of the Christmas and New Year's baking competition 2014 must be found.

The big baking competition expands the family! Five previous participants have taken a child each to a competition for confectionery, cookies and other Christmas cakes. In the Christmas baking contest, each couple must bake their own Christmas decorations, they must overcome the secret challenge, and in the masterpiece challenge, Christmas memories must be converted into Christmas cake. Timm Vladimir is the host and the judges Mette Blomsterberg and Jan Friis-Mikkelsen decide which three couples will go on to the New Year's programme, where the winners of the Christmas and New Year's baking competition 2015 will be found.

It is the final of the big Christmas and New Year's baking competition, where former baking competition participants each have a child in the kitchen. Only the three best pairs are left in the final. The couples fight for the trophy and the honor when they compete in New Year's baking. Delicious hors d'oeuvres must be baked for the New Year's party and a festive firework will be created from a 12 o'clock cake. And in the secret challenge, you have to try your hand at the New Year's classic wreath cake. A challenge where both children and adults are challenged by the law of gravity. The best couple wins the trophy and the coveted title of Christmas and New Year amateur baker of the year.

This year's Christmas and New Year's baking contest offers a pleasant reunion with several of the participants from this year's edition of The Great Baking Contest, in a wonderful mix of well-known faces from last year. There is both a fast pace and lots of Christmas atmosphere when the five colorful couples taste, bake and fight their way through the Christmas challenges. A platter of classic and creative Christmas goodies turns out to be a bigger mouthful than expected. And the cooperation skills are tested when the couples have to create a masterpiece that tells a clear story about their relationship with the good old Christmas tree. After a couple of hectic and pleasant days in the back tent, the judges have to choose the three couples who will go on to the final of the New Year's programme.

This time, the participants of the Christmas baking competition are this year's eight wonderful junior bakers - put together in pairs. There is a guarantee of lots of Christmas atmosphere and excellent cooperation when the couples bake, taste and fight their way through the challenges. They have to conjure up icing decorations on delicious Christmas cookies, and present them in a home-made, cozy "Christmas scenography".
