We check out the sights in downtown New Orleans, including some abandoned locations. After the sun sets we head out to the abandoned Six Flags park, closed since hurricane Katrina. Stay tuned for the full exploration video of that!

We finally did it, we made it to Six Flags New Orleans. Following hurricane Katrina, the park was under 4-7 feet of water for a month, and once the water was drained, the estimated damage was over $30 million. The park, which originally opened as Jazzland, was only in operation for 5 years before being abandoned.

We set off on Southeast Expedition Phase 2 through Georgia and all the way up to Chattanooga. On the way up, we had some serious trouble with our tarp. Stay tuned for new road trip vlogs every Monday!

While in Atlanta, we tried to fit as many abandoned places into one day as we could. When the sun set, we decided to check out the city.

Our exploration of the theme park continued into the morning. Once the sun was up, the park was much less ominous and easier to explore.

We check out a non-abandoned Six Flags and then head up to Chatanooga.

The day begins with us locking the keys inside the truck... while it's parked inside an abandoned factory. After resolving that issue and exploring the factory, we went out again to sling some steel wool.

Come along as we explore an abandoned textile mill that was built in the early 1900's. Sketchy flooring as well as anyone possibly lurking inside were two big concerns on this exploration.

Make sure to watch in 1080p or the quality will be really bad. The reason the quality still isn't great is because even though its 1080p, that includes all pixels in all 360 degrees of video. So since you're only looking at a portion of it at a time it ends up being much less than 1080p. So if you wanted 360 to look good on youtube, you'd have to upload in 4K. The problems with that are that 360 rigs that record in 4K cost upwards of $1000, plus most people's internets can't even handle streaming 4K so it would play in 1080p anyway. So please don't complain to us that it doesn't look good.

In this episode we check out an abandoned Jai Alai fronton that has been abandoned for over 25 years. Inside the arena we find that bats have taken over the cavernous room.

As we hike through misty, wooded hills, a massive abandoned insane asylum reveals itself. The complex was used for several things in it's lifetime, such as a fort in the Civil War, a prison for Native Americans, and finally a segregated mental health institution for African Americans. Join us as we try to avoid security and explore as much of it as we can.

As we continue to explore this eerie abandoned asylum, we find that many of the buildings are thoroughly sealed up. However, we still manage to find our way into two more buildings before being run off by security.

This abandoned coaling tower once filled steam engines with coal. Today it's raised structure looks like the perfect place to re-purpose as a fortress in the event of a zombie apocalypse. Join us as we climb to the top!

We explore the inside of what used to be an abandoned industrial lubricant factory. The entire building was filled with leaking barrels of lubricant and oil making it extremely slippery. In this not so mini mini-explore, we check out an abandoned historic armory that was built in the early 1900's. Later, it was converted into a recreational center with city offices. The upstairs floors were surprisingly clean and the building still had electricity.

In this video we check out an abandoned dam/hydroelectric power plant that is over a century old. A whirlpool spins eternally in the center of the dam and is said to be connected to paranormal occurrences. After exploring it in the daytime, we return at night to see if we can witness anything out of the ordinary, and we find a huge underground tunnel system.

The massive rooms of this factory completely dwarfed whatever was left over. The historic building was home to one of the largest employers of the city in its earlier years.
