The Beer Pioneer with Matt Stewart has launched, starting in Sorrento with a visit to St Andrews Beach Brewery.

Episode 2 of ‘The Beer Pioneer’ takes Matt Stewart further along his journey retracing the footsteps of William Buckley, making his way to two more craft-beer breweries in Dromana; TWØBAYS Brewing Co & Jetty Road Brewery.

This week, Matt finds himself in Sydney and Melbourne simultaneously. After a whirlwind cruise on Sydney Harbour, Matt catches up with the team at Bad Shepherd Brewing Co. in Melbourne, before heading back to Sydney for a visit to the Lord Nelson Brewery Hotel.

This week, Matt stops off at Urban Alley Brewery and a visit to South Melbourne Market to cook up a “Roo Stir-fry” with Mark Olive aka the Black Olive.

This week Matt finds himself on the Bellarine, popping in for a beer with Scott at Valhalla Brewing & Taproom, and doing a spot of fishing with legendary Australian cricketer Merv Hughes.

This week Matt finishing his tour around Port Phillip Bay, does a spot of horse-riding, catches up with the team at AIREYS PUB & Salt Brewing Co, then winds things up with a refreshing yoga session at Desa Retreat.

In the final episode of The Beer Pioneer Matt Stewart departs the familiar turf of Port Phillip Bay and heads south to Tassie for a trip to William Buckley’s final resting place, and a cheeky beer at Hobart Brewing Co.
