The Battle of Phillora was a large tank battle fought during the Indo-Pak War of 1965. In Sep Indian troops crossed the international border into Pakistan with the objective of launching an attack in the enemy's backyard. India held sizeable territory inside Pakistan until the ceasefire was declared.
