Hello friends and welcome to another video! So, late last year we decided to take the plunge and move across the country for a fresh start in a new place. After doing some serious decluttering, we packed up our house, grabbed our cat, and hit the road (and vlogged our whole cross-country road trip in our minivan!) It's been a couple of months and we are finally set up enough to dive back into making videos, so here is our moving vlog! Hopefully you guys enjoy it, and thank you for being so patient with us while we figure all of this out.
Also, sorry about any smudginess of the windshield! It was tough to keep clean on our drive, but I know sometimes it can look gross, so sorry about that! Lol

This week I am taking on another questionable fashion item, and testing out the Balenciaga x Vibram separated toe high heels! The internet was very unnerved when these bad boys hit the scene and though it's been a while since I took on an "ugly" piece of clothing, I felt like it was time to make a comeback. So I styled these bizarre shoes for a week to see what, if anything, I could glean about why they came to be.
Quick note -- I did include some pre-2020 footage, so anything you see inside of me in a store is from before 2020! Also, we made sure to take any sans-mask shots in very isolated area, with not another person in sight!

Hello friends! Bad makeup science is back! Wait no, not makeup -- just bad *general* science, I guess. Here is a weird video we made where I mix one of every hand sanitizer from Bath & Body Works together!! Bath & Body Works is notorious for having a ton of different hand sanitizers, so I thought it would be fun to mix them together to see what the midpoint color & fragrance will be - and to try and spice up my ~hand sanitizing~ routine.
Just a quick disclaimer - some of the shots in the intro/buying segment of this video are shots from our Franken-candle video from 2018, which is why everyone is ~unmasked~. Also, any extra sanitizers that we still have after this video will be donated!

And being the lipstick fiend that I am, I decided to follow one of her lipstick recipes to make myself a custom lipstick (color and base) from scratch. What do you think of my final color? Hello friends! So, previously we have tested out many a bizarre hack video -- from beauty hacks, to fashion hacks, to photo/video hacks AND soap art hacks -- from Blossom, 5 Minute Crafts, and others -- and in general, I have not been impressed. BUT, a couple of months ago when I stumbled upon these beautiful CANDLE art hacks -- I fell in love. These are the coolest candles I've ever seen and I needed to have them. So we decided to pick out a few key candle art hacks and see if they are just pure clickbait, or if you can actually make any of these crafts IRL. We tried a margarita jelly candle hack, a whipped wax latte candle hack, and a wax cherry blossom tree hack. What do you guys think of our final products??

HELLO FRIENDS!! This week, I ventured to an Amazon Liquidation Store in Raleigh, NC called Treasure Hunt Liquidators to get me a haul of Amazon customer returns! A few years ago, we bought an Amazon Return Box from a liquidation website -- and it was kind of crazy, but we *were* able to get a lot of stuff for a pretty big discount. So when I heard about an Amazon Returns Store... I figured we had to go! I got a drone, a spice blender, a go pro lens, a massage chair, and a microdermabrasion tool (and a lava lamp & succulent growth light) -- all for $10 each!
