A child, who is afraid, of the dark forms a unique relationship with the objects that once frightened him.

Set to Bob Dylan's seminal recording, this is an early 1985 Pixar test of grass being blown by wind, made while the company was still a division of Lucasfilm. It remains unreleased outside of the internal-use DVD "Made in Point Richmond."

The scene shows a polar bear running from some eskimos. Suddenly, he stops in his tracks. The eskimos in the distance see the polar bear and start to charge at him. The polar bear then pulls out a radio from the ground and he starts tuning the radio until it plays "My Girl" by The Temptations. The music distracts the eskimos as the polar bear walks away. Realizing the trick, the eskimos yell and begin to chase the polar bear again.

The short is being narrated like a storybook. The story is about a kid named Melvin. Like most storybook children, Melvin had no friends, and his parents totally ostracized him, so he spends most of his time in front of the TV, watching his favorite TV show, Ted Land. One day, the main character of Ted Land, a giant blue monster with giant purple spots on his arms named Ted, suddenly talks to Melvin to come play. Suddenly, Ted's passes his arm through the TV screen, and pulls Melvin in, knocking him out in the process.

The short film starts with a boy looking out of the window. He's really excited because it's snowing. After desperate begging to go outside, the boy's mother agrees. But before the mother could let her son play outside, the mother needs to give him some warmth. She puts three sweaters on the boy, and when she's about to put a scarf on, the boy attempts to run, but he gets caught. Later, the mother places his son outside of the house. The boy attempts to walk into the snow, but due to the amount of sweaters his mother put on him, he is unable to move his arm and legs. After vigirous struggling, the boy suddenly falls over. Now he has his head stuck in the snow. The camera zooms out, showing a bunch of kids suffering the same fate as the boy.

A dinosaur is all wanted to have fun, so he finds a way to do it. But a caveman who is jealous of his invention try to stop from playing.

Mike is obsessed with his new six-wheel drive car, and insists on showing it off to his pal Sulley. Sulley's first words when he sees the car were, "What was wrong with your old car?" Mike simply replies, "Three little words, Sulley: Six Wheel Drive!" Unfortunately for Mike, everything that can go wrong does go wrong.

The short is based on the youngest member of the superhero Parr family: the baby, Jack-Jack. From The Incredibles film, the audience knows that Jack-Jack's babysitter Kari McKeen started experiencing difficulty with him shortly after hanging up the phone with his mother, Helen Parr (a.k.a. Elastigirl/Mrs. Incredible).

In a spoof of the 1960s animated series "Clutch Cargo", Mr. Incredible, Frozone, and their rabbit pal attempt to prevent a bridge from being destroyed.

This short is based on the day to day shenanigans of Mater after the story shown in the feature film, once life has returned to normal in Radiator Springs. It is Lightning McQueen's very first Radiator Springs adventure since he decided to stay in the sleepy town. The short starts out with a scene from Up, where two nurses from the Shady Oaks Retirement Village knock on Carl Fredricksen's door to escort him to the nursing home. As seen in the film, Carl instead takes off in his house, while Russell braces himself underneath it. George and A.J. stare dumbfounded at the sky while their van's alarm goes off (it had been bumped by Carl's house). They continue to stare dumbfounded when they return on the van, and on bed during sleep time. The next day, a news reporter does a story about sightings of a floating house. She attempts to get George and A.J.'s opinion, but they are still staring dumbfounded. Meanwhile, other senior citizens around the city, including at Shady Oaks, are watching the news report and celebrating Carl's "escape". A week later, George and A.J. are back at their task of escorting elderly citizens to Shady Oaks in their van. Unfortunately, the seniors have gotten ideas from what Carl did, and every time George and A.J. come to a house to take a person away, the senior living there escapes with their house somehow. Finally, they arrive back at the Shady Oaks Retirement Village, only to find an old man outside the door who yells "So long, suckers!" and hits his cane against one of many canisters attached to the outside of the building; the other canisters soon follow and spew out a powerful gas. After the man goes inside, the entire building launches into the sky. Still dumbstruck, George and A.J. stare up. A few canisters fall down, and one lands on their van, setting off its alarm again. Suddenly, from behind them, a giant blimp starts to descend. It turns out to be Charles Muntz's Spirit of Adventure dirigible, and Carl is flying it with Russell next to him. The airship lands on top of the van, crushing it and causing to effectively stop its alarm. Carl and Russell climb out and George incredulously says "Mr. Fredricksen?" They walk past the nurses, and Russell mentions that next time he would like to s

Dug's Special Mission "is a little bit of the backstory of what Dug was actually doing out there on this mysterious mission when we meet him in Up". Dug is instructed on how to catch the bird by Alpha, Beta, and Gamma, but his instructions are really intended to keep Dug away from them.

It is Dug's birthday. This ordinary Golden Retriever wishes that it will be the happiest day of his life, when suddenly, Kevin runs over him and the pack leaders - Alpha (a Doberman Pinscher), Beta (a Rottweiler) and Gamma (a Bulldog) - run into Dug. Irritated with Dug for getting in their way, they come up with "special missions" for Dug to help capture the bird. However, these are just ploys to keep Dug out of their way.

Wayne and Lanny, now partners, are called by Magee to meet with a secret contact – Mrs. Claus, who sends them on a new mission to retrieve a box from Santa’s secret workshop. Later they sneak into Santa’s office while he is asleep, using their high tech equipment from the previous film. Lanny’s expertise at dressing the tree enables them to enter the hidden workshop where they recover the box and escape just in time. Mrs Claus reveals the contents of the box to be the last part of the first toy that Santa ever made, and gives the complete toy back to him as his Christmas Present.

Months after Toy Story 3, it is winter break for Bonnie, who is going on vacation to Hawaii with her family. The toys are excited to have a week of relaxation, but Barbie and Ken reveal themselves to have stowed away in Bonnie's backpack, hoping to join her in Hawaii. Bonnie leaves them in her room, however, much to Ken's horror and disappointment when he realizes they are not going to Hawaii. Barbie reveals to Woody that Ken planned to have their first kiss on a beach at sunset (based on a travel brochure), inspiring Woody, Buzz, and the rest of Bonnie's toys to go all out and recreate Hawaii for the two. After various adventures in "Hawaii", Ken and Barbie share their first kiss in the snow at sunrise, recreating the scene from the brochure. However, the two step off the edge of the porch without realizing it and end up buried in snow; a post-credits scene shows the other toys trying to free them from a block of ice in which they are now frozen.

The short features characters from the Toy Story films and takes place after the events of Toy Story 3. It premiered in theaters with Pixar's Cars 2, and was included on the film's media release.

Outside Luigi's Casa Della Tires, Guido is spinning around with his forks spread out because Mater is teaching him how to fly. A skeptical Lightning McQueen asks Mater what he knows about flying, and Mater replies, "Everything." Mater then proceeds to tell the story.

At a fast food chicken restaurant called "Poultry Palace", Bonnie does not want the electronic Zurg belt buckle that comes with her kid's meal. When she asks for a mini-Buzz Lightyear–themed toy, she is told the restaurant's supplies of them have run out. When her mother asks about the one in the display case, she is told that it is for display only. Inside the display, Mini-Buzz Lightyear complains they will never be played with—as they are just the display toys—to Mini-Zurg (who prefers to stay). Bonnie goes on to play in the ball pit with her own toys; when no one is looking, Mini-Buzz secretly climbs in. He pulls the real Buzz underneath the balls so that Bonnie's mother ends up picking up Mini-Buzz when they leave the restaurant. Once Mini-Buzz gets home, he passes himself off as the real Buzz (explaining to the other toys that the plastic in the ball pit made him shrink), and proceeds to generally annoy the whole gang (save a gullible Rex) with his obvious ruse and his antics.

Lightning McQueen and Mater were in front of the Courthouse when Lizzie drives by. She says good morning to Lightning and Mater in a rude way, but she says it in a nice way to the statue of Stanley. Lightning McQueen asks Mater how Lizzie and Stanley met. Mater replies by telling one of his stories, which "all started last week."

Accidentally gaining the ability to travel in time, Mater travels back to 1909 in the middle of a desert where he meets Stanley, the founder of Radiator Springs, who works as a travelling radiator caps salesman. With the realization, that if Stanley goes away there would be no Radiator Springs, Mater brings McQueen from the future to which Stanley sells him a radiator cap. Mater then suggests Stanley to settle there and build a town where he could serve broken cars, and Stanley accepts. Jumping a few years forward, Stanley shows Mater and McQueen the expanding town when Mater takes a note of a broken Ford Model T, which turns out to be Lizzie. Lizzie's seemingly falling in love with McQueen makes Mater panic again about Radiator Springs' future, but it turns out that Lizzie had her eye on Stanley. After Stanley and Lizzie were introduced to each other by McQueen, he and Mater make another time jump, where they attend Stanley and Lizzie's wedding before returning to the present. There, Lizzie thanks McQueen for introducing her and Stanley.

Mater is the first Tow Truck on the moon. His mission: Rescue the Impala XIII by giving him a tow and bringing him back to Earth. Lightning McQueen joins Mater and they are met with a hero's welcome.

Riley, now 12, is relaxing with her parents at home when a school friend, a boy named Jordan (seen briefly at the end of the film), shows up to take her skating. Riley's parents suspect their daughter is going out on a date, and their emotions react. Riley's mother attempts to get the information out of her by attempting to sound cool and using slang terms, much to Riley's (and her emotions') chagrin. Riley's father tries to intimidate and interrogate Jordan. When Jordan mentions he plays in a band, Riley's father recalls his own memories of being in a band, and the two begin to bond over their shared love of AC/DC. Riley and her mother come downstairs to see her father and Jordan playing air guitar to AC/DC's "Back in Black", causing much embarrassment for Riley. Riley quickly rushes Jordan out the door as her parents watch, concluding that Jordan is a "good kid" and feeling nostalgic about their own love. The short ends with Riley's parents sharing a kiss causing Riley's Dad's emotional center to erupt in excitement and celebration once again to AC/DC's "Back in Black".
