The crew embark on a massive alpine tahr and chamois expedition on the West Coast with hopes of bagging a summit of the mighty and remote La Perouse.

After a successful first few days, the crew now tackle the crux of the trip, attempting a historical route to the top of La Perouse that has not been climbed for many years, while the hunting party has an encounter with a truly once in a lifetime bull tahr.

Willie leaves the rifle at home and teams up with top Marlborough bow hunter Cody Weller to go all in and try secure a winter Red stag with the bow.

Fiona joins the boys on her first ever Fiordland Wapiti adventure. With a good storm brewing, will she come to regret her decision to venture into this wild place?

Having survived a serious Fiordland storm, the crew locate a great Wapiti bull on a distant ridge and go all in to try and secure it for Fiona.

The boys are joined by four Dads and daughters who want to secure their first tahr. Things quickly turn competitive, will the North or South Island girls claim bragging rights?

Emil’s girlfriend Shay joins the boys on the quest for her first mature Red stag but an incident mid-trip puts her entire goal in jeopardy…

Joined by renown wildlife biologist Cam Speedy and expert Kaweka pilot and hunter Chris Crosse, the crew revisit some of their favourite Sika hunting haunts of old, looking at the issues around vegetation and Mountain beech regrowth.

The team are joined by Willie’s long-time friend Henry and go hard out to secure him a good Red stag during the roar. With the Reds looking lean, maybe a different species will prove a great consolation prize…

The boys venture North to famed Waterfowl haven, Lake Wairarapa, before returning South to unleash Greg latest’s invention upon the ducks and geese, “Ol’ swannie”!
