Our investigators take on the roles of staffers for the disreputable newspaper, the Tokyo Tattler, as they create their characters and hear about Tom's epic journey prepping and translating this Call of Cthulhu adventure from the Japanese anthology, 'Bibliotek 13'.

Three staff of the Tokyo Tattler, KenJi (Ben), Miranda (Lydia) and Joski (Ravs) receive an unexpected invitation to the mansion of Bunji Mitake, the elderly CEO of the newspaper who has been absent for months. In hope of inheriting an important new position in the paper they head out to the suburbs but they may get more than they bargained for…

After arriving at the mansion of Tokyo Tattler CEO, Bunji Mitake, the three staffers find their boss in a state of delirium. Finding a mysterious note addressed to them, Mitake has issued three requests: ‘Catch the dog in the bamboo forest, block the basement door so it does not open, Lock me in my bedroom at night and let me out in the morning’. Venturing into the basement they find the mutilated corpse of Mitake’s young wife, Akke, but some power in this place makes dead flesh stir…
