On the morning of December 21, 1963... Like all Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots, the Dereli family woke up without knowing that they would never come together again. The Dereli family who kept it did not know that the day they woke up would go down in history as Bloody Christmas. One day, just Kemal Dereli and hundreds of thousands of Turkish Cypriots, not undercover work for the state, including those living in Cyprus and "Motherland", the lives of hundreds of thousands of the Republic of Turkey citizens living in Ankara also will change in a way that "will not be the same" ever again.

Just like 20,000 other Turkish Cypriots, Kemal and his family have been banished from their villages, towns and homes in addition to being persecuted and disappearing in massive numbers as they head on their journey. On one hand Kemal does whatever he can to protect those in his caravan, while on the other he is trying to learn where his wife and elder daughter have been taken. As the reasons as to why Sampson specifically kidnapped his wife and daughter, Makarios is about to throw the final blow. Lefkoşa will fall, all of the Turkish leaders will be taken into custody. From the moment that “Ankaralı” landed on the island, he has started to make his moves to save Lefkoşa and to make the refugees more comfortable. When the hero in the black beret starts working arm and arm with the Turkish Cypriot Forces, the Turks get over the initial shock and they immediately start their epic defense of their homeland!

Kemal who thinks that his wife and daughter have been killed, now only has one goal in mind; to take his father who condition continues to worsen along with the other fewer but still remaining refugees to the tent city that has been established by Ankaralı. In order to get them through the point of control, Kemal has made the decision that he will sacrifice his own life if necessary for the benefit of those remaining. But there is someone who notices his intent. As for Ankaralı in Lefkoşa the increasing amount of wounded refugees as well as the remaining corpses of Major Nihat's family must be sent back to Turkey, so he decides to disguise himself as an elder, and his plan includes raiding the British High Commissioner's office so that he can demand for Turkey planes to help the wounded, and in order to accomplish this he is planning on using a huge trump card that he has not yet pulled out. The huge trump card is the Soviet Union.
