Rob visits a remote indigenous community in the Tiwi Islands, Northern Territory to meet up with Andy Warton who started the “Off the Hook” program uniting local police with indigenous kids through their commonly loved pastime of fishing.
The program teaches traditional mud crab hunting and how to source a feed of XL local clams. Then as an extra treat, the indigenous Marine Rangers, who patrol the region for illegal fishing and ghost nets, show Rob their work, before demonstrating just how good fishing can be when regulations are enforced properly.
